Ideal segmentation has the power to improve conversions by almost 2X. Gamooga understands this importance and thus our new product update is focused on helping the marketers to improve on the same.
Removing Real-time Flow Users from Adhoc/Promotional Campaigns
Through data collected from the performance of numerous campaigns, we zeroed out the fact that real-time communications are more effective in terms of driving higher click-rate and conversions than Adhoc/promotional communications. This is because real-time campaigns convey more time sensitive and personalized information and thus have better chances of capturing user’s attention.
With this particular feature, Gamooga has made it easier for marketers to set priority for real-time campaigns over promotional campaigns.
A check box has been added in the new UI, shown while creating Adhoc campaigns. By clicking on it, a trigger event will be fired for real-time flow users to remove them from Adhoc flow.
Here’s a Use Case to understand the benefits of this feature:
Problem Statement: An online bus and hotel booking service provider runs 6 Adhoc/promotional campaigns and 3 real-time campaigns in a day. They have over 2000 users that fall under the user segmentation criteria of both real-time as well as Adhoc Campaigns.
Shortcoming: Since the user has already received 6 push notifications during the day, the chances of them taking an action based on another communication is highly unlikely. As a result, they end up missing a real-time communication that might have been of interest to them and drawn conversion.
Solution: By removing real-time flow users from Adhoc/promotional campaigns in such a case, marketers can now leverage on the better conversion rate of real-time campaigns.
